Things of note: what i am grateful for today.

  • i woke up to a post from Busi.
  • In morning practice my inner music channel suddenly shuffled this song, the phrase 'time has told me' stuck around all day. What could be more beautiful?
  • Cold shower with minty Dr. Bronner: crispy goose bumps, cheering heart. (PhD-baby got a crush on doctoral soap)
  • i crossed a woman on the Wivenhoe trail, me on bike, her walking. We smiled at each other.
  • During tea break i got to tell someone about my work. Listening to myself i once more appreciated how i feel blessed for loving my work. Every single bit of it. This is so good to remember when work times feel difficult and/or exhausting.
  • i am grateful to the lovely person who will water the plants while i'm gone. she loves aloe, too.
  • The salad i made for lunch was   f r e s h.
  • i sent the first letter ever to Los Angeles feeling blessed for having met a wonderful beautiful soul this summer i can post letters to. Let me tell you, angels live in Los Angeles.
  • This afternoon someone rang the door saying she had letters for me that were posted wrongly. Opening the door for her i find a small package on the doorstep that the postman was unable to fit thru the slot this morning. In that package i find three shells from the U.S. East coast and a kombucha culture, among other things. The three shells were broken, but -- three shells! Not to speak of the kombucha baby. It was already the second in the mail this week. 2012 is kombucha year.
  • I learnt of Yule or Yuletide. Pronounced just as my name. i am in winter festival mood now, i want to celebrate the light. Who also wants some Yule-time?
  • Many moments throughout the day i was aware of my breath, each single one was a special moment.
  • i found out who of my friends posted from Tunisia. love love love.
  • This evening i gave a 2 hour presentation to 15 people in several German cities over skype. Technology... i'm in awe.
  • This is most likely going to be post #50 this month, making this month's posts almost a third of all posts this year. This project inspires me to heaven. Thank you for being a part of it, thank you for reading this. Thank you for being you.
  • without much thinking i can come up with 15 things that i am grateful for today. and rain is dripping softly onto the roof. beauty all around.
ooh, i want me some juicy midnight yoga. so off i am! bye bye now.
