If work flow is tenacious

  • decide that it is not. If self-deception does not work
  • go to the bathroom and smile at yourself in the mirror. Encouragingly wink at yourself.
  • think of what you appreciate in your work. Be grateful for it and for what you have already achieved.
  • sit next to someone who is working vividly and be inspired.
  • turn on happy music and start dancing around the room in the craziest way. Make sure to shake every part of your body. (this works well when working from home)
  • turn the world upside down by turning yourself upside down. Stand on your head or hands. This will keep your blood and ideas floating anew.
  • read the latest news headlines and be convinced that there are things much worse outside.
  • tear up paper that has no more space for further scribblings and carry it over to the paper recycle bin.
  • remember the feeling of satisfaction after you finished the last project. Fine-tune your current motivation.
  • if a cat is around, give her some love.
  • eat a tangerine/orange/grapefruit or drink sparkling water for freshness.
  • work on a yoga pose you still want to improve.
  • take a long walk outside.
  • write stupid blog posts.
