yes, this is exactly the direction where our energy is headed [upwards]. we are experiencing important times. are you able to lift your eyes from the flow of news? the endeavor on this end here is in vain.
my first PhD chapter argues with the newsworthiness of violence. right now we witness the reporting on military violence to supersede the reporting on technological violence to supersede the reporting on natural violence to supersede the reporting on autocratic violence by one crazy mental to supersede the reporting on violent rebellion to supersede the reporting on non-violent upheaval. as a student of political science i am fascinated. as a meditator i spread metta. as a human being i try to enjoy life each and every moment. once more i observe and learn that each moment is a gift and that everything can change in a nano-second.
so better have myself treated to mom's breakfast at least once more in this life, get her some flowers, take her out to the theatre,
and delay my departure from the Kiez as long as can be. finishing our hot chocolates on a crowded sunday flea market on boxhagener platz, rays of sun all around. getting mesmerized by the two tanga elektra brothers. small kids cannot control their feet. people stand with broad smiles or mouths just open. check out 'soulrider' on their myspace.
may awareness be with us each and every moment, no matter what we observe and experience. it is world water day today and earth hour this saturday. these times demonstrate the human value of both -- saving our pristine water and producing clean energy. it seems about time for an environmental spring cleaning the world has yet to see. (the democratic one already kicked off this winter.)
